Builders Utility – Underground Division
Using state-of-the-art machinery and highly trained specialists, Builders Utility can bore holes and bury underground conduits and lines at nearly any worksite.

What is Directional Drilling?
Directional drilling (also known as directional boring) is a minimally invasive method of creating bores for utility lines, conduits, and other underground applications.
The major advantage of this process is that it can be done with very little disturbance to the above ground surface, making it ideal for environmentally sensitive areas or residential developments.
Furthermore, because there is little environmental cleanup needed, the time to complete a project is often shorter than trenching.
What is Vibratory Plowing?
Vibratory plows perform similar tasks to directional drills, but instead of going underground, these machines work through the top of the ground’s surface to lay fiber cables, pipe, and other residential utilities and systems.
It’s advantageous to use vibratory plows whenever something needs to be installed close to the surface or in a tight residential setting, as many of these machines are very maneuverable, dig to a depth of a few feet, and leave hardly any marks behind when a project is finished.
